Brian Cook is a deadly outside shooter who offensively can play the role of a stretch "4" but has the ability to be very effective in the post with his solid inside game. He is a versatile defender who can guard three positions; center, power forward and small forward. He ranked fourth in NBA three point field goal percentage per 48 minutes.

Brian is incredibly experienced player at the NBA level, having appeared in 421 career NBA games (74 starts) over nine seasons from 2003-12. He spent his first four seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers before stints with the Orlando Magic, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers, and Washington Wizards. Brian has also seen action in 31 career playoff games over four appearances with the Lakers and Rockets. Cook was originally selected by the Lakers in the first round (24th overall) of the 2003 NBA Draft.

Collegiately Brian was the 2002-03 Big Ten Player of the Year and Third-Team All-American selection as a senior, when he averaged 20.0 points and 7.6 rebounds in his final college season and finished his Illinois career as the third leading scorer in school history.
